I dont assume. I work on facts...This is the reply i have got from a colleague of mine (R) from P. He felt insulted by an email that I have sent to him. This is how the story begins...
Early in the morning, I received an email from a colleague (A) saying there is some problem with a membership numbering and the member has difficulty registering into our website. After checking the database and discussing the issue, I sent an email to (A) and (R). In my email, i informed (A) of the correct number and asked (R) to have the card replaced with the correct number for that particular member. At the same time, I also informed (R) if he is not sure about the membership number, please check from the system instead of simply assuming the number.
In return, he sent a bunch of emails to me and those big guys in the company. In the emails, he wrote a lot and the only sentence that I can still remember vividly is the one he asked me to be a bit more tactful in saying things as my previous email is insulting......
I might not realise how harsh the words 'simply assuming' can be before this...But after this incident, I will definitely be more careful in saying things. Lastly, I would like to convey my sincere apologies to (R) for insulting his feelings.....
I came across this test from a friend of mine. But what I can say is the result of this test is really doubtful...
I am unusual? impulsive? My blog entries are completely uncensored? The contents tend to shock? I certainly do not think so......

I had been to one of them, the Great Wall of China =) Hopefully more to go......
My buddies and I spent about 4 hours in Borders, Times Square today. We dominated a long table in the Starbucks Cafe which is situated within the premises which served pretty much like a conference table for us, ordered a few cups of coffee, turned on the laptop, and chose a stacks of travel guides from the racks and....started planning our trip to Cambodia!
We managed to get all the information that we want like visa applications, admission fees, maps, guest houses, places that we must visit during our trip and etc...from the travel guides books and websites...This made the planning process more joyful with all of us involved...We talked craps, laughed on some funny information that we got and, started imagining our trip....=) and it made me forgot how sick I was!!
Oh gosh...I am so looking forward to this trip...
So I decided to do some "research" to fulfill my curiosities and the information I got from the Wikipedia are:
7-Eleven is an international franchisor, licensor, and operator of a chain of convenience stores. The company was founded in 1927 in Oak Cliff, Texas, USA, which is now part of Dallas, Texas, when an employee of Southland Ice Company started selling milk, eggs and bread from an ice dock. The original location was an improvised storefront at Southland Ice Company, an ice-manufacturing plant. Although small grocery stores and general merchandisers were present in the immediate area, the managers of the ice plant discovered that selling "convenience items" such as bread and milk was popular. Eventually, several locations would open up in the Dallas area. Initially, these stores were open from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m., hours unprecedented in their length, hence the name. The company began to use the 7-Eleven name in 1946.
Malaysian 7-Elevens are owned by Convenience Shopping Sdn. Bhd. (CSSB). Convenience Shopping Sdn Bhd (CCSB) was incorporated on 4 June 1984. CSSB is the pioneer of 24-hour convenience stores in Malaysia via its franchise of 7-Eleven stores in Malaysia.
I came across a few so called "IQ questions", which made me laugh like a drain and I ended up puking blood...... =)
